To renew the Church and equip the people of God as witnesses for God’s reign through imparting of sound, holistic, pastoral, and transformative theological education.
Mission
Asia Graduate School of Theology, Northeast India, believes in the collaborative endeavors to educate women and men marked by faith in the Lord Jesus Christ, character with integrity, academic and spiritual competence, and compassionate heart to provide transformational leadership in the church and society that penetrates the public squares.
About AGST-NEI
The Asia Graduate School of Theology, North East India (AGST-NEI) is a consortium consists of Shalom Bible Seminary (SBS), Kohima and Oriental Theological Seminary (OTS), Dimapur. It was launched at Shalom Bible Seminary under the aegis of Asia Theological Association (ATA). The Memorandum of Understanding was signed by the Principal of the SBS, Dr. Sanyü Iralu and the Principal of OTS, Dr. Joshua Lorin on the 10th of March 2019. AGST-NEI was blessed with the presence of Dr. Theresa Lua, General Secretary of ATA, who gave the charge and Dr. Paul Cornelius, Regional Secretary of ATA India, who offered the prayer of blessing.
Shalom Bible Seminary (SBS) is owned and sponsored by the Angami Baptist Church Council (ABCC). It is a theological institution approved by the Nagaland Baptist Church Council (NBCC), and the Council of Baptist Churches in North East India (CBCNEI).
Oriental Theological Seminary (OTS) is owned and sponsored by the (NBCC), and approved by the CBCNEI.
The consortium is established on a synergistic understanding that by banding together and complementing resources, God‘s kingdom work in North East India and beyond can be multiplied.
The two like-minded seminaries, rooted in the evangelical faith, are entrusted with the charge to impart sound, and wholistic theological education to impact the church and society in the region.

It is a great delight to announce that the AGST-NEI programs have received accreditation from the ATA.
